So, what is this? Just another movie?
No....well, yes it is a movie, but it's more than that. It's an experience. The Bok Choy experience.
See, most movies, you get a story, some characters, a "lesson," then the credits roll and you throw your popcorn on the floor and leave the room. This, by the way, is a bad idea if you are watching it on video.
With Bok Choy, you do get a story, a love story, in fact. But you get much more than that...you also get an insight to the challenge low budget directors, actors, and crew face in their struggle to make a good lookin' flick in a budget the size of a large apple (in the section called "the low budget blues").
You also get some stories-within-the-story. These come in the form of television shows and commercials we all know and love, but done with spoofalonis ( I don't like the word "spoof," so I made up "spoofaloni").
Please have a look at the sections below, and enjoy the Bok Choy experience. For as the old saying goes, "With Bok Choy, you really do get it all." |
