The love story in Bok Choy starts with Bill. Bill is a good guy. He works at a video store and generally keeps to himself. Bill is in love with Delila.

Delila. Well, there's no accounting for taste. Seems simple enough so far...

Ah, here's where the problem is.... Delila has a boyfriend. Norm, shown here on a typical Sunday afternoon.

But wait, they don't appear to be the happy couple. It seems they are together much more out of habit than of actually liking each other.

And who's this charming little fellow? Why, it's Delila's dog, Jonathan Witherspoon! Seems he's got a bit of a temper.

Here we see Delila, seeking relationship advice from her best friend, Paige. But Paige isn't really Delila's friend at all. She's just using Delila for her 32" television set and papaya juice. She's not much help.

(Director's Note: The first actress who played the role of "Paige" quit part way through the movie. Since it was low budget and we could not afford to reshoot all of her scenes, we had to find another actress to replace her, "Paige 2." We were very fortunate in that we found an actress who looked remarkably similar.)

Back to Bill and Delila. Bill is too afraid to approach Delila, so instead of talking to her and letting her know how he feels, he watches her from afar. It gets a little out of hand, as he soon also watches her from behind bushes, through her window, and even follows her in her car. (Director's Note: Again, the budget proved limiting. We had a rental car for Bill for the first part of the movie, but had to return it before completion. He was then forced to follow Delila on a bicycle that we found. It had a flat tire, but by that point, we couldn't even afford air.)

Bill also seeks advice, but not from Paige. Bill asks his mom, with all of her wisdom, to tell him what he should do to win over the girl of his dreams....

But unfortunately, his mom has not memorized all of her lines in the script, and goes off on some tangent about his father, leaving him more confused than ever.

What ever will he do?

Bill.

Delila.

Norm, tending to his lawn.

Happy couple?

Sweet dog...but don't turn your back on him!

"Sure I'm your best friend, Delila... can I have some juice?"

Delila has no clue. She doesn't know Bill likes her, either.

"You look just like your father."
